Design: This group of oil paintings is composed of 12 of the most influential political figures and leaders in the contemporary world, each with their own unique personality. The work is based on the artist’s own understanding of the modern socio-political climate and was made after analysing visual resources and each of their public personas. By portraying their facial expressions, gestures, backgrounds, and screen tone design etc, the artist interprets the beliefs, characteristics, emotions, mentality, and style of these characters.

The artist leaves plenty of space for the audience’s imagination. Different viewers can interpret the inner worlds and connotations of the works based on their own understanding.
